Parents Night Out!!!

Hello Parents,

We will be having two "Parent Night Out" nights in December. Parents Night Out is a night where you can bring your child to Tiny Hoppers at 5:30pm until 9:30pm, and go out for the night to see a movie, or do some christmas shopping. While you are out your child will have dinner here and watch a movie and play. If they need to sleep they can also nap and relax until you arrive!
The dates for December are Friday December 9th and Friday December 16th from 5:30-9:30pm.
Please let Miss Kala or Mrs Maria know if you, or anyone you know are interested in this. (This is open to the public so feel free to spread the word)
Thank you :)

Christmas Concert

Parents,
On Thursday December 22nd we will be having our annual Christmas Concert here at Tiny Hoppers. The concert will start at 3:30pm and will go until 5:00 pm. The Christmas concert is mandatory for parents to attend (at least one parent per child, but you can feel free to bring family and friends as well.)

We will be performing some Christmas songs as well as some of our favorite circle time songs. We will have a guitar sing a long, a visit from Santa and a pot luck!!
This gives you a chance to see what your child is learning at daycare, meet their friends and their parents and all the Tiny Hoppers staff!!
We will be posting a pot luck list at the door for parents to sign, if you would like to bring an item please fill it out on the sheet (so we don't have too many doubles)
This concert will be so much fun! The children and teachers are so excited to see you all :)

Pyjama Day

Hello Parents!!
On Friday December 2nd we will be having our first PJ day :)
If you could send your child to school in their pj's and slippers, and send a special stuffy that would be much appreciated!
We will also be having a pancake breakfast, if you would rather your child not participate in the breakfast please let us know and we will accommodate!
Thank you :)

Upendo School Building in Kenya

Dear Parents,
We thought you would be interested to know that Tiny Hoppers has adopted a nursery school in Kenya as part of our charity initiative this year! The Nursery School has been working out of a mud hut for the past 4 years and we are raising money to build a school for the 100 kindergarten and Nursery School children.  The foundation that is building the Nursery School is Elimu.  More information on the charity can be found at www.elimu.ca
We will be discussing this fundraiser with the children and encourage you do the same at home!
Below you will find a clip of the building progress, please take a look!
We will be doing a Poinsettia Fundraiser to help raise money for this wonderful cause! Please stay tuned for more updates on the Kenya school and ways you can help :)
Please take a moment to watch the video clip :)

Lateness and Sick days

Hello Parents!!
Just a friendly reminder that our day at Tiny Hoppers starts at 9am. If you are going to be late we would greatly appreciate if you could give us a quick call to let us know when we can be expecting you so we can include your child in the days ratio and account for them for lunches.
If your child is sick and will not be attending, again please just give us a quick call and let us know!
